A same race multi lets you combine multiple selections inside one race. Pick a horse to win and another to place, or stack three runners by finishing position. The bet slip prices each leg and multiplies the odds, so the payout reflects all selections landing correctly. The wager only pays if every leg is correct, which makes it a higher variance bet than a standard each way. Most metro thoroughbred meetings are eligible and the slip flags whether a race accepts same race multis before you stake.
